OK great! Please use this URL in firefox:

http://localhost:7633/zimbra/desktop/login.jsp?dev=1

This will popup a new firefox window with soap debug trace. Let it finish loading, make sure the tree is still blank, and copy+past the entire trace from the popup firefox window to file a new bug. Thanks a lot for your help!

Thanks John! Now please try one last thing. Go into Options tab and select the Mail subtab. Find the checkbox "Flash the browser title" and uncheck that. Save, and then do a Shift+F5 reload. See if it makes any difference. Thanks!

OK. I presume you mean the "Preferences" tab . Went into Mail subtab but "Flash the browser title" is already unchecked. Tried checking it, saving, reloading - still no folder tree. Unchecked again, saved, reloaded. Still no folder tree.

OK, we'll analyze the soap trace. Please stay tuned. Thanks for your help and sorry about the inconvenience!

Identified as problem related to faulty shared folder permissions. Deleting relevant share using Zimbra web client interface and letting delete synch to ZDesktop solves problem - the folder trees all re-appear on reloading ZDesktop!

Thanks Zimbra team for guidance on this, and for a great product!

Thumbs up

I just want to confirm that deleting the share i was not allowed to see from the webclient made the desktop version work again!

Thanks for the work around, and also quick response from Zimbra-team.

You are getting closer to a product that will remove the need for outlook in our company. (using outlook with desktop connector today)
