I am having trouble getting my zimbra account setup in Zimbra Desktop. I am cross posting fromhere. Please read there for the full description. The short version is that I have seemingly entered all the account info correctly into Zimbra Desktop but zimbra server is reporting an authentication error- no such user. My guess is that it is using the full email address (pbennett@emailvm.cvemg.local) as the user name, rather than only the username itself (pbennett) during the authentication attempt.
