zimbra desktop Synch Errors

Hi, I had this running great, Desktop synched with my zim server. then I moved the zim server. The accounts are the same and passwords are the same. In Zim desktop set up, the accounts are connected.
however, the server and desktop is not synching. I even have to reboot the box to get into the Desktop but it is not usable. I installed again but get same issue.
Please any ideas?

when you say it doesn't sync what do you mean? just empty mailbox?
