Just installed it from the repository and tbh i fail to see the benefit. It still uses the installer and installs right into ~.

Don't get me wrong, i really like Zimbra Desktop as it finally offers a decent alternative to the current Groupware Solutions on the market, but the whole installer concept is really crappy. At least on linux...
