Default Connection problem

Hi,
since I switched to the latest Beta (0.90(build 1251)), I have the same error message"java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect" when trying to reinstall 2 POP3 accounts that were working fine before.

Since they stopped syncing, I removed them and tried to reinstall them. I had internet connection, PING verified.

I installed Zimbra dektop on my apple running Mac OS X on Intel 10.5.3

This usually means that the host is not reachable. From your box can you telnet to the pop server on the pop port?

what about smtp? we actually test both of your pop connection and smtp connection during account creation to make sure everything is correct.

Hi,
this is the same server. Upon release of the new beta, still unable to add simple pop3 account, different message though:
"Service error. Please check your server settings; verify your email address, password or IMAP access (if required)."
Hope this helps
