Subfolders sync, but root does not.

I'm evaluating the Desktop client and have it set to use IMAP on a server running MDaemon 9.56. For some reason it will not sync the root folder in the mailbox. It syncs the subfolders fine, just not the root.

I also set it up on an Exchange Server account using IMAP, and it worked fine. Therefore there is some sort of issue when communicating with MDaemon.

Any suggestions?

Oh, I should note - I'm using the Mac client.
