Default Asus eeepc/Mandriva 2008.1/Zdesktop

I am trying to install the Zimbra desktop on to my eeepc which I have install Mandriva 2008.1 linux on to.

The issue I am having is that I have installed Zdesktop and it seems to install ok other than I get an error about the "Zimlets could not be installed" near the end of the installation and there is no desktop or KDE menu item add to open the software. The backend services however do seems to start OK I just can't get the interface up due to not having any icon.

Has anybody had a simliar issues with either the zimlets or the icon?
I could manually add an icon but where do I point the link too?

Thanks for any help or ideas you can give.
