Exclamation ZD Beta 2 for Windows crashes
After installing "zdesktop_0_84_build_1116_win32.exe" on several Windows XP machines, the program crashes with a full page of visible errors when attempting to enter a standard Zimbra mail account.

Will a fix for this new release be available soon?

Woah - can you post some of the errors?
Or better yet attach some logs from drive:\zimbra\zdesktop\log (or wherever you've installed it)

That might be the problem : zDesktop beta 2 does not like 5.0.2 servers.

You need to upgrade your server to 5.0.4 or downgrade zDesktop.

Okay. That makes sense, thanks. I'll upgrade the server this weekend to latest version.... Also, is there an easier way to upgrade from Beta1 to Beta2 short of performing a full ZD uninstall, and then installing Beta 2? Thanks.
