Default Install Desktop Client on Fedora 8

I see several comments that you should not run the Zimbra server on Fedora 8; how about the desktop client? I would assume that I should have no problems????

Thanks.

Default Installed on Fedora 8

Well, I was able to get the Desktop to install with no issues on my machine. I am now getting a Connection Refused Error when trying to setup my Gmail account. Will keep working...

I set my Gmail client to Enable IMAP but am still getting a connection refused error. I did see this in my error files:

more zdesktop.out
0 INFO [main] log - Logging to org.slf4j.impl.Log4jLoggerAdapter(org.mortbay.log) via org.mort
bay.log.Slf4jLog
308 INFO [main] log - jetty-6.1.5
430 INFO [main] log - No Transaction manager found - if your webapp requires one, please configu
re one.

* The documentation did not mention a transaction manager but I did turn SenMail off based on another thread I saw. Any ideas would be appreciate? Thanks.

Thanks.
