Default 4.0.4 French Translation

I put together a package which includes the Admin console translation, the French date zimlet, the French spelling and the Web client translation.

It also includes the 'install.sh' script that installs all this. The script must be run as root with Zimbra 4.0.4 already running.

The same package can be found at http://files.whitehatmail.fr/ (enter with user 'invite' password 'invite') in the Zimbra directory. It is too big to upload it to the forum (300KB, limit is 145KB). The file name is zcs-fr-4.0.4_GA_406.tgz.

Enjoy!

Carlos

Carlos,

just tested it, got a few changes to propose (the biggest one being "In" instead of "Un" in the login page).

The installation script works flawlessly (French files are correctly setup).

Thank you Klug!

Please send me an e-mail with the changes (or post them here).

Carlos, I noticed that the ZaMsg_fr.properties file names "pascal MONTAGNE" as the contributor. But I didn't find a contributor agreement for him. Please ask him to fill out and send a contributor agreement before we add his translations to the product.

Is the CVS ready ?

Oops, just read this : Translations Process – README

Greg, should I send you the admin translated file I already sent to Carlos or may I upload it directly?

Default admin file

first we need to make sure you send in the contribution agreement

next, i'd say you and Carlos should decide on the best process to put it into SVN. I.e. does he want to moderate by consolidating files and posting himself (single POC) or does it make more sense to have you do it directly as a key lead.

If the latter I can certainly help facilitate!

Thanks!
