Default Norwegian translation out in SVN!!

Finally we got the Norwegian language files out in SVN@SourceForge. The translation is not fully complete, but near and in many production enviroment.

If you have things you want to change or ideas, I would be very happy if you post them in this thread!

Hi

I am sorry to say, there is no update at the moment. I see you are a service provider, may i ask which one?

If you can help with the work, that would be very nice. To get to the point where the norwegian language are updated at all times, we need more than just me doing this. Contact me if you can help.

Best Regards
Flums

I've contacted Flums volanteering to do the rest of translations, as we are about to delpoy Zimbra 6.0.2 ourselves.

The translations for v5 seems to have been fairly complete, but there were ~4000 strings to translate for v6.

I have translated about half of them now, and they will be out in SVN as soon as they are finished. All about the open-source share-all spirit, eh?

Even so, the Zimbra desktop still could use a translation into Norwegian as well - any takers??

Is there any work being done to translate zimbra desktop to norwegian? We've been using thunderbird/lightning but with problems. Thinking about trying zimbra desktop instead, but preferably with norwegian language. I'd be happy to help out translating if that could get us there

See my previous mail in this thread

As far as I know (and I've been in contact with flums, who coordinates the Norwegian translations), no work on translation of the desktop clients are started as of yet.

Feel free to contribute! I've not yet had a look at the text strings for the desktop client - and with a bit of luck we may be able to re-use a fair amount of the translations done for ZCS v6
