MaX,

We are thinking about making the localizations provided by the community available as language packs on the Zimbra website. That way folks may directly download and install the packs they desire. It also decouples localization somewhat from release schedules, So that as localizations are completed they can be made immediately available to the community - so the sooner the work is done on a localization, the sooner it will be available to the community

I should add that we will also attempt to provide property files for upcoming releases (along with diffs from the previous release) as soon as possible in the release cycle, so that localizations may be kept up to date

Thumbs up Japanese language pack

Hi KevinH (and Zimbra)

Andy from your team asked if Daisuke and I would be willing to do the Japanese translation files - I just had a look at it. Hopefully we will have time to do it over the next 2-3 weeks.

Great product by the way. It has had a lot of press here in Japan - in fact you got an article in the equivalent of Japan's slashdot - from that point on their has been a lot of interest in Japan for your product.

regards,
Stuart (and Daisuke)
