I will start over with a German translation - if it is not already done...
I think that GertThiel has started (look at this thread.

How will the time/date-formats be managed? In the german language they are quite different.

Our goal is to make it automatic. In Java each locale has a reccomended date/time format. We plan to use those and generate the formats dynamically when we detect your browsers locale. Once this is out we'll ask for your feedback on how you like it or if you think you need more control.

This should be in the next build, at least in part. Depending on how much time we get to spend on it it may not get pushed in to all parts of the app.

Hmm, looks like this thread is dead.. I saw this posts but was not sure about the status.. by the way, is there some documentation around on how to integrate translated files? I did not find the correct locations for these files.. and: how stable are the language files to start with? I have a zimbra_messages.zip file - is this still acurate?

Greetings

The thread still lives We will be releasing a new version with new language files very soon. So if you've not started it may be best to wait. We'll also provide better documentation at that time.
