Default Annoying "Re" and "AW" error in german translation

    hi,
everytime i install or update zimbra, i have zu change the german translation.

a user named "Rissoto" said everthing worth knowing about this issue back in 2006:
"Also, I hope RE: will never be translated to AW: in the german localization. This is a no-go. AW: has been introduced by Microsoft Outlook by *mistake*. Someone thought it would mean RE as in REply even though it means RE as in REs (latin). So there is nothing to translate. I hope this will be respected in the german translation of Zimbra. BTW, AW: breaks RFC compatibility!"

please correct this as soon as possible. thanks!

    Welcome to the forums,

Could you file a localization bug in bugzilla & explain the reasoning there?

This is really a general issue, so I've filed a bug under internationalization, not localization.

Bug 29687 – Re: string should not be internationalized

The French-speaking user community continues to do their own translations... see http://www.zimbra.com/forums/i18n-l1...anslation.html
