Traduction française 5.0.x

Message en français pour ceux qui veulent une traduction "complète" et sans "bugs"...

Je viens de "fabriquer" un fichier de traduction qui corrige tous les soucis remontés jusqu'à présent.

J'ai également trouvé comment avoir la page de login en français, l'admin en français et les "nouvelles fenêtres" (nouveau mail ou réponse à un mail) en français sous Firefox et IE (sous Vista et OSX, on ne l'avait en français que sous Safari)...

Le plus simple pour l'installer :
. se loger sur votre serveur, passer en user zimbra
. aller dans le répertoire /opt/zimbra/mailboxd/webapps/zimbra/WEB-INF/classes/messages
. lancer la commande : mv ZmMsg_fr_FR.properties ZmMsg_fr_FR.properties.old
. lancer la commande : wget http://stuff.grolamerz.com/Zimbra/Zm..._FR.properties
. aller dans le répertoire /opt/zimbra/mailboxd/webapps/zimbraAdmin/WEB-INF/classes/messages
. lancer la commande : mv ZmMsg_fr_FR.properties ZmMsg_fr_FR.properties.old
. lancer la commande : wget http://stuff.grolamerz.com/Zimbra/Zm..._FR.properties
. relancer le service zmailboxd : zmmailboxdctl restart
. faire un force-reload des browsers ouverts (pour charger les mises à jour)

On se retrouve avec une traduction "abimée" dans la WebUI ("Calendar" et "Inbox") pour résoudre les problèmes de répertoire de partage mais pour corriger cela, il va falloir que Zimbra modifie ses templates/son code. Donc ça risque de prendre un peu de temps.

Corrections gérées par ce fichier
. URLs traduites dans les partages
. "actualiser" pour rafraichir la liste des mails (chaine raccourcie)
. "Privé" à la place de "Accueil" dans le carnet d'adresse
. "Le" à la place de "Activé" dans la date des mails
. "Re" à la place de "Réf." en préfixe des sujets

Modifications pour l'admin et les "nouvelles fenêtres" en français
. se loger sur le serveur, passer en user zimbra
. aller dans le répertoire /opt/zimbra/mailboxd/webapps/zimbra/WEB-INF/classes/messages
. lancer les commandes

. aller dans le répertoire /opt/zimbra/mailboxd/webapps/zimbraAdmin/WEB-INF/classes/messages
. lancer les même commandes que celles juste au dessus
. relancer le service zmailboxd : zmmailboxdctl restart

A faire
. corriger les traductions dans l'Admin WebUI (chaines trop longues, etc).

Hi Klug,

I found another bad translation in the modification/cancellation of an appointment.

Create an appointment with invitees, then after, modify the appointment in order to make ZCS send a notification of modification to all invitees.
The message received by the invitees isn't fully translated (message subject is in english, the message body is partially translated in french).

I'm going to create a bug (if it hasn't already been done) because in this type of message (notification of an invitation, a modification of appointment), dates are not managed by the date Zimlet ...
My boss said me that it was not productive to have to go into the mini-calendar whereas a date Zimlet is running to do that normally !

I forgot the resource reservations : the notification message (when creating/modifying/deleting resource reservation) aren't translated in NE version 4.5.4.

Is it possible to create fake resources and rooms for the online demo account in order to test if it has been corrected. I have tested only for creating/modifying/deleting an appointment, and, as I wrote before, it was partially translated in french.

Franck, we'll (try to) take care of your 4.5.4 translations issues but you should upgrade to 4.5.11...

I've just reopened a bug that is not correctly solved :

If I simply remove /opt/zimbra/mailboxd/webapps/zimbra/WEB-INF/classes/messages/*_fr.properties* and restart mailboxd, will that "fix" the problem by defaulting to English?

I have the luxury of being able to assume that people can deal with English. We just have a handful of people with fr-localized operating systems seeing these functional problems.

Yes, you can delete/rename them and then restart mailboxd.

That's what I've done for the admin translation (deleted) on my server as in french it's not 1024x768 compliant (not even 1280x800 compliant).
