Uninstall from Mac OS X 10.4.10

Help.

I need to uninstall Zimbra desktop and nothing I've tried will work. Uninstaller gives this error:

java.io.FileNotFoundException: /Users/myname/zimbra/zdesktop/.install4j/files.log (No such file or directory) Error log: /private/tmp/install4jError38136.log

A search of this forum yeilded some results involving terminal commands, but none of that seemed to work and some I do not understand.

Can anyone help point me in the right direction?

You can just manually remove it, try this:

1) Make sure Zimbra Desktop service is not running. It is a java process. If it is running, on terminal command line cd into the installation folder and type './zdesktop stop'. You can also terminate the process using Activity Monitor GUI.

2) Delete the file ~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.zimbra.ZimbraDesktopLaunchd.plist

3) Delete the installation directory. By default it's installed under ~/zimbra/zdesktop but you may have chosen a different destination during installation.
