Exclamation Unable to sync new mail - Invalid or untrusted server SSL certificate (gmail)

    Hello,

I am trying to use Zimbra Desktop 7.2.2 GA (build 11951) for my office email which is hosted on google apps for business. I was able to successfully install and setup Zimbra Desktop when I did it at my home and all the email and calendars got synched successfully - however the contacts did not. I was okay with that as I could live with this issue.

However, when I try to open Zimbra Desktop at my workplace, I am unable to sync mail and calendar as well. The application tells me to check the account setup again and when I do that, this is the error message I get :-

Invalid or untrusted server SSL certificate. Please go to edit screen of Account Setup to revalidate settings.

When I go to edit screen :-

Invalid or untrusted server SSL certificate (details)

No it's not, the only 'issue' is that it's an untrusted certificate.

    Can't you accept the certificate?

    Thanks Bill,

I can't believe I did not see the "accept certificate" option below the error messages! Please excuse me for overlooking it. I am able to sync mail and calendar now, but the issue with contacts sync is still there. But from the error messages that are getting stored in the "error reports" folder, it seems that its a different issue.

Do you want me to post it here only or maybe we can close this thread and I can start a new one?

    Thanks for the help !

    Regards,
    Suyash
