    Default Can't launch Zimbra Desktop 7.2.1 on Mac OS 10.8.2 after installation

    After install I get this message:

    Warning: Unresponsive script
    A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.
    Script: file:///Applications/Zimbra%20Desktop/macos/prism/Prism.app/Contents/Resources/components/ForceOnline.js:180

    After I press continue:
    I get this message:

    JavaScript Application
    Couldn't access Zimbra Desktop server. If issue persists after reinstall, please check logs for errors and report to Zimbra Desktop.

    Zimbra in a browser (Safari) works fine.

    Already tried to repair disk permissions. No luck yet.

    /Users/USER/Library/Zimbra Desktop/log

    is empty!

    As of today I started having the same problem. Now, when I launch Zimbra Desktop (v7.2.1) it gets to the gray screen and sits at "Loading..." Also, tried repair disk permissions and reset preferences, to no avail. Web access seems fine, but then it looks like some functionality is not working like deleting emails??? Looking for a solution. Thanks.

    What is the Zimbra Desktop log showing?

    reference: Zimbra Desktop 2 FAQ - Zimbra :: Wiki
    View the file /Users/[username]/Library/Zimbra Desktop/log/zdesktop.log - the end of the log should show the error.

    Also, be sure to try rebooting your system. Sqlite can sometimes have dangling locks that can only be cleared on reboot.

    I can find no such log file or file location in Mountain Lion OS X v10.8.2; even when searching the hard drive. I have rebooted, run Disk Utility for permissions, and reset pram's. All to no avail.
