Default Increasing the mailbox storage capacity

    Hi,

I have been using the Free webmail for many years, and I am entirely pleased by this new user-friendly desktop.
Due to that ancient and intensive use of my webmail account, I am close to the upper limit of free space available (1 Go). Would it be possible to increase this limit?

Thanks a lot for your reply.

    Regards

I'm afraid that we do not have any access to the mail servers at free.fr, their services use the Open Source version of ZImbra and they are responsible for your mail quota. I don't believe they have any larger quotas than the current 1Gb, FWIW they're also my ISP.
    Regards

Thanks a lot for your prompt answer.
I just thought that Zimbra was developed by Free, now I am perfectly aware that I was not asking in the right place for this request, I will contact them directly.
    Thanks again,
    Guillaume.

For those who might be interested, it is easily possible to increase free space with new settings of Zimbra that Free makes available on demand.

In brief, just go to the website of Free, then connect on Your Account (same as for your mailbox). There is a (brand new) setting that proposes automatically and for free to increase the storage space to 10Go instead of 1Go. The modification is active in the hours following the request.

A nice day to you all!

Thanks for updating this thread, I haven't looked at those setting for a while and thought it was still 1GB.
