Default Message replies in same folder...

I'm sure that this is already discussed so I apologize for having to post a new thread on it.
I searched and couldn't find it.

    Objective:
When I reply to a message in a folder such as "Golf team", I expect that the message I'm sending becomes part of that conversation and is saved in that conversation's folder. However, it doesn't seem to be the case. Am I missing something obvious? Is this covered some place else that I couldn't find by creative searching? If so, please point me in the right direction?

Thanks for everyone's time and bandwidth.

All sent messages are stored in the Sent folder and they will appear in the conversation view (folder location is shown if you expand the conversation).

Yea, I know they're stored in the sent folder.

I assume you're answering me by saying "No, there is no option to save the message reply with the original message."

    Is that correct?

Yes that is my answer but you didn't actually ask that question. Why would you want them saved with the original message when you can see them in the conversation?

Yes, you're right, I didn't spell out the question as I should have.

This isn't an unusual method of operation as seen here in Eudora: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/27834209/example01.png

If the messages are all stuck in the same folder (i.e. as current) then all you're doing is creating a mess. However, if the messages are kept together in their respective folders, one can move them from the server and keep them together as well as occasionally clean out the sent folder of the chaff that collects.

As it is now, if I "Select" a conversation to move it to a local folder, it does *NOT* select all entries, only the *incoming* messages, not the replies so I end up with a partial conversation saved.

So yes, this is a desireable configuration that's missing. (Gotta run, let me know if this isn't clear enough.)
(Quick followup too. If I select a conversation and delete it, the "Sent" entries aren't deleted too.)
