Zimbra Desktop 7.1.4 won't open on my Mac

I just downloaded Zimbra Desktop for the first time. I have a Mac, and for some reason when I double click the Zimbra Desktop icon it doesn't open. It looks like it tries to open but fails. When I double click, the icon appears in the dock for half a second and then disappears.

Can someone help me open Zimbra Desktop?

Hi there,

Double clicking on the downloaded dmg file mounts the disk image, which you should be able to find in finder under the mounted devices. I believe it will also show up on the Desktop. From there, you can launch the installer. From there, you'll need to launch Zimbra Desktop.mpkg, which will launch the installer itself.
