    Default Limit download size

Hello, im new to Zimbra, i come from Mac and i'm finding a valid client for Windows 7. I came into Zimbra and so far it's good...but since i have 7 Gmail accounts, with a loooooooot of email..i see that Zimbra is downloading all the emails filling my HD space. Is there a way to limit the download size, or to download ONLY the headers? I did take a look in the settings but i havent found anything.
    im using Zimbra desktop 7.1.4
    thanks!

n00ise, ZD is bad choice for you, go try something else, e.g. Thunderbird.

If you don't want to download all your mail you can restrict it by date or by the last 'n' days, take a look at the account setup page.

lol i tried thunderbird 'till today, and it works so bad with IMAP (duplicates, etc..)

damn i didnt know that was such a pain to find a good client in windows

@phonenix: if i do in this way, i will loose the ability to search within my email.

n00ise, then think carefully - ZD is not very good IMAP client as it is, having no proper folder mappings. As for searching email, not sure what you mean - if you don't download mail body, of course you can't search within it with offline client.

ZD really shines when you have Zimbra account and need an offline client.

so far ZD was good for my needings, only that limit size thing was left to make it my default email client. I will look elsewhere. too bad i really liked ZD.
    thanks for the quick replies.

n00ise, as I've said, ZD is quite good - as long as you have Zimbra account. If you need calendar, address book, task list and briefcase functionality, maybe you should consider getting yourself one.

Of course, if you're looking just for a better interface to a Gmail, ZD is not your cup of tea. Just keep in mind that ZD is not a standalone product but a part of great communication suite.
