If you mean it should not download the mail then why are you using Zimbra Desktop? The Web UI interface to Zimbra will do what you want.

This is a quote from the Zimbra Desktop page (note the highlighted text):

The free Zimbra Desktop client allows you to meld the online and offline worlds – storing and synching your email, calendar, contacts, files and documents in the cloud, yet having them locally accessible when on the road. Zimbra

Thank you for you Quick reply .
" If you mean it should not download the mail then why are you using Zimbra Desktop? The Web UI interface to Zimbra will do what you want."

Because Zimbra Desktop is better confortable than UI interface to Zimbra .

I want my email stay on the server because I am not so at my desk . Then , the most important is when ou have a crash , email are on the server , You don't manage the backup of your mail .

Is there a way to solve my problem ?

    Thank you by advance

The interface is exactly the same.

There isn't a problem as far as I can see, I've already told you that the mail stays on the server. Only a copy of the mail is downloaded to your local PC, read the ZD documentation and help for further information.

There is no specific way to stop the synchronisation, that's the whole point of an offline client. The nearest you can get would be to limit what is downloaded, got o the Setup page and edit the account and set the Mail sync option to something that would suit you better than a full mailbox sync.
