Unhappy Zimbra desktop 7.14 installation fails on Linux Ubuntu 11.04

I have been using Zimbra desktop for a while now. I received a message that an important upload had been released (7.14). When I tried to update my installation, I received a message that patch failed. I then downloaded the archive file from the zimbra website, and installed following installation instructions. I received no error messages. However, when I attempted to start the desktop, a script failed to execute.

I'm fairly sure that there is an error in the present archive.

I'll move this post to the correct forum as it not a question about Zimbra Collaboration Server (which is where you've posted).

No, there isn't - the download an install worked for me (on various flavours of Linux and Windows).

    Unhappy Ok, but

The prior version was installable with no problems of my laptop running Ubuntu 11.04, the present version is not. If you don't think this indicates a problem with the release, so be it.

You said there was "...an error in the archive", there isn't - my answer was directed at that comment. If you think there's a problem then you'll have to provide a bit more information about the problem other than 'it doesn't work.

I'll try again. Installation completes with no error messages. When I execute the command to start the desktop, I receive the message in the attached screenshot. I have allowed the app to run for 20 minutes, without getting any further.
