Entry of 'meeting' not taken by calendar

Hello.

I have the latest version installed on Win7.

When testing the feature of MEETING or TASK I have absolutely no success.
Each date/time which I enter and save is not visible in the calendar.
And when clicking the MEETING-OVERVIEW on the left I get an info-window telling me that this is only functional with at least 1 meeting-date.

What can I do?

What do you call the 'latest version'? You should give the specific version & release details when you post a query.

You've also given do details on what (type of) server you're connect to, is it a Zimbra server, Yahoo, gmail or what?

It is ZIMBRA Desktop 7.1.2 (Build 10978).
The question about the server I cannot answer. Just wanted to have a good Email program and installed it. I have mail-servers with gmail, yahoo, and 2 others.
It seems that I am not familiar with Zimbra's philosophy.
