zimbra Desktop Mac 64bit - adjust how attachements are handled?

I've been trying to get .pdf's and .xls files to open automatically like .doc files do (instead of forcing me to save them somewhere) without any luck.

I've adjusted the settings in my default browser - firefox ,so now it at least works for me when I open them in the web interface...

but I'd really like this to work!
