Default Calendar will not display appointments

Recently downloaded Desktop 7. Calendars do not display appointments. They are all blank. I have entered appointments and it appears they are saved, howerver the calendar is blank. Added a calendar and added appointment with the same results. I have been successfully using ver 1 for many years. Removed and downloaded ver 7. Same problem. Any suggestions?

Which version 7, is it the GA or the new 7.1.4 beta - if you haven't used the beat then try that.

You haven't really given much information about this problem, which service are you connecting to (google, Zimbra, yahoo or something else) and where are you creating these appointments, in ZD or in the services itself?

Connected to Zimbra. Creating the appointment in Zimbra Desktop. Using Ver Zimbra Desktop 7.1.2 (build 10978)

Unhappy Calendar will not display appointments

I am having the same problem. My calendar will not display my appointments. Don't know what info you need. I am using Zimbra Desktop 7.1.2 which I downloaded 1-2 weeks ago onto Win7.

It seems there are several problems with Zimbra I have encountered so far and my good impressions of Zimbra Desktop are diminishing. There are quite a few problems with the software.

    Linda,
Load the latest Beta version 7.1.4. All is good. It is a little quirky if you are using mutliple accounts ( I have 4), but it is still the best email and contact program I have used to date.

    Red face

Thanks Bobi. The download of the Beta 7.1.4 has solved the calendar problem. Now I just have to figure out how to solve my email problem.

    Thumbs down

My OS is Win7 and the Zimbra Desktop is 7.1.2 (build 10978).

Today's the first time I tried Zimbra, GMail works fine, but I couldn't get the Calendar to accept anything (linked to my Google Calendar). So I tried my Yahoo account, since I have a calendar with them also. Again, the Yahoo mail worked fine, but the calendar does nothing with my Yahoo calendar.

Guess I'll go back to Mozilla's client -- I had to study/tweak a few things to get it to sync with my Google Calendar, but at least Mozilla worked with my Google calendar, unlike Zimbra

I guess if you looked ariound the forums you'd have found the answer. Try the Zimbra Desktop beta (from the downloads page).

So after downloading the "suggested" version - approx 93,000kb, finding out the calendar doesn't work, we're supposed to search forums to find yet another download - this time a beta?

I chose Thunderbird - approx 16,000kb - along with Lightning addon, that worked straight after install. Now I have a working home calendar, along with Google, Yahoo, Hotmail/Live and also my tv shows subscription via ICS (the last two are read-only, and Hotmail required a bit of study, but no additional downloads).

Perhaps making the working "beta" the "suggested" download for Windows might have prevented this potential new user from reverting to tried, true, and trusted Mozilla.
