Default Search Mail not giving any results

I started having problem using the seach mail feature in Zimbra Desktop 7.1.2 (build 10978). when i do a search i do not get any results

Not sure when this started, i am sure i used this before with out any problems...any help would be appreciated

You'll have to give some details on the search term you've used and some confirmation that the expected results can be found in an email.

In the mail search I type in the name of the person from whom I received emails from (for example I get an email from joe@gmail.com, I type in "joe" in the mail search window).
The search results say "No Results Found"

hope this helps, I will try to put is a screenshot....

It certainly works for me and find anyone with the specific criteria in any of the account in ZD (that's a gmail, yahoo and several ZCS accounts). Have you tried going to the Setup page (top right on the UI) and seeing if a reindex helps?
