How to activate the calendar ?

Hello.
I installed ZIMBRA on to my Win7.

Everything looks nice

BUT

I cannot utilize the calendar.
My intention is
-to open the calendar (function OK),
-to click on a date.
-to enter an event.
-to determine the sequence of advance-reminders.
-to receive a reminder-bubble while running ZIMBRA.

Question:

Is that possible?
If yes, can somebody explain to me how to proceed?
