Lightbulb Of Mail and Dates

Hi everyone, I have a doubt and haven't been able to answer this by myself. One mail arrived december 23th, and MS outlook show arrived time OK. But, double click to open mail it shows it was sent may 2008. So, doubt arouse and basically the question is

1.- What is going on here? Could it be the sender's pc be living in the past? Maybe misconfguration or something, even maybe a virus?

2.- How Zimbra manages dates, maybe these is similar to any MTA out there.

TIA

Rodrigo
