Zimbra Desktop 7.1.2 (10978) Start-up Problem

Hello Zimbra representative and fellow ZDT users,

This is my first post and I hope someone can help.

I'm a new user having installed ZDT only three days ago. After two days of use, I started having problem with the desktop client not starting properly. I launch the client, and I get stuck at the loading screen for ever; the app is fully launched into the GUI only after 10-15 minutes of being stuck at the loading screen.

What could be the problem? I did a search in the forum but didn't find any recent posts with clear answers/solutions.

My system info:

OS: OSX Leopard 10.6.8
Zimbra Desktop version: 7.1.2 (10978)
