Default MS Exchange Client on Zimbra

Hi:

I noticed an IMAP/Exchange option for new accounts, but it won't support my corporate Exchange. I'm currently running Outlook 2007 in the CrossOver windows emulator. It's extremely slow and won't accept emails needing authentication to open, since credentials never get passed in this OS environment. When do you plan on supporting?

On my mobile devices - both Android - I utilize Touchdown Exchange that works excellent, but they don't have a Mac desktop client.

exchange ? lol

when do you ask microsoft supporting zimbra in their outlook client

btw you can use a zimrba server on android with the active sync protokoll

but even if it says "exchange" its not the same

desktop protocol for exchange is a complete different animal as mobile activesync is

im not shure but as far i know the exchange proto is part of a patent so you cant use it

however you can use imap access for mails only - at least something or use zimbra server that works

This isn't addressing my question. Zimbra doesn't support corporate MS Exchange. I asked when this might happen.

BTW, Touchdown Exchange for Android devices does it quite transparently (Welcome to NitroDesk, Inc.), so it's quite doable.

Indee i did adress your question but youre wasting my time with your halfknowlege and dont even accept an answer.

so one last time:

1. No touchdown DONT SUPPORT EXCHANGE it support active sync - which is used by exchange for mobile devices - so zimbra server does too - THIS ISNT a native sync with exchange

2. Its very unlickly as i already wrote that Zdesktop will support exchange ever - and again as far i know this protocol is under a patent - microsoft dont wanna see 3rd party exchangecleints believe me

If your server is exchange, you can choose to add a "Microsoft exchange IMAP" account in ZD setup, that didn't work ?
