Default Migrating from Outlook 2011 for Mac

Hi Guys,

I tried searching for this before posting - but couldn't come up with anything...

I need to migrate a Mac user, who's currently using Outlook 2011, with normal pop - to Zimbra desktop client for Mac, off our Zimbra server.

I don't believe there's an outlook connector for Mac, hence I have to replace with ZDC. (correct?)

Not sure about the outlook pst file on a mac - is there an import utility for the Mac? Or can I copy the PST onto a windows pc - and run the utility this way?

Thanks!
Zakaria

Hi Zakaria,

We recently did a migration that included a number of Mac users running Outlook 2011.

To migrate email, we added an IMAP account in Outlook 2011 and copied their mail across and allowed to sync.
For contacts and calendar data we used the Sync Services to sync the data with Address Book and iCal, then exported from the respective apps and imported into Zimbra Desktop.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Rob
