Default Zimbra Desktop Calendar Not Working

Since I updated Zimbra Desktop to V7.1.2 my Calendar feature no longer works. I cannot create new calendar entries, and I cannot edit existing calendar entries. I have 3 different PC's. all with zimbra Desktop installed on them. The Calendar feature does not work on any of them. Two PC's are running Win 7 (64 bit), and the 3rd PC is an HP Laptop running Vista (32 bit).

Calendar worked fine on my older version of ZD.

???????

Default I am having the same problem - Calendar not working

I Installed & use Zimbra Desktop 7.1.2 (build 10978)

The calendar function does not work at all - I can complete the form for a new appointment & save it, but it never shows in my calendar (actually NOTHING shows in my calendar). I have even tried duplicating every appointment in Microsoft Outlook, exporting the calendar file (calendar.ics) & importing into Zimbra & still nothing....

Computer OS (I have several computers I use) :
PC running Win7 Prof 64 bit
laptop running Vista Ultimate 32 bit
PC running XP Prof 32 bit
Laptop running (partitioned drive with 2 boot options) XP 32 bit or Linux
Macbook Pro running Snow Leopard

The calendar function won't work at all.... anyone have a clue as to what's going on?

Thanks!

Default QA dropped the ball here!

Seems to be wide spread... looks like the ball got dropped in QA!

My calendar is totally useless.
My existing appointments can't be deleted and new ones don't show up!

This was reported in September
Fairly important functionality, don't understand why it's not fixed yet.

My calendar also does not work. Outlook invitations from external parties go into my Calendar but I cannot create any new appointments. I can easily complete forms and everything looks good but when I save, nothing shows up in my calendar.

Absolutely frustrating considering I have this product for two items: e-mail and calendar.

At this point, I think I'm going back to version 7.1.1 since the calendar seemed to work then.

I found it in the archives at:

Jean,

How would you migrate all of your contacts and e-mails which have already been downloaded into version 7.1.1 (I also have 7.1.2)? I cannot afford to wait months to resolve this problem and I don't really want to go back to Outlook but, if I have to ....

Default Going back to previous version (7.1.1)

I exported all my contacts & accounts (Preferences>import/export). I have always left all mail (except spam/junk) on the servers (so I just go to the webmail hosting site & mark all the mail I have saved as "unread" so it will load & populate the mail into Zimbra Desktop when I uninstall 7.1.2 & re-install 7.1.1).

I also started a Google calendar (since nothing would save in 7.1.2's calendar) & this can be export from Google into an .ics file to import into 7.1.1

Save the file

Look the left side where the mailbox folders are when you select preferences
At the bottom of each profile is import/ export
