Unhappy Cannot add new appointments.

I'm new to Zimbra Desktop. Trying to find an alternative to Outlook.

Have installed Zimbra Desktop 7.1.2 (compilation 10978) on Windows 7 Pro (32bits).

I've been trying to add new appointments and although I get the confirmation message that the appointment has been saved, it doesn't appear in the calendar.

Besides, the field for inviting contacts is greyed and I cannot add any.

Can somebody give me a clue where to start for trying to solve these issues?

Thanks in advance.

This might be how your Zimbra account is configured in the ZDC. Zimbra Exchange and IMAP should allow you to set appointments if you are currently on a Zimbra Service.

Hope this helps.

Red face Have only setup gmail accounts

Thanks for the prompt reply!

Actually I've only setup three gmail accounts (one gmail, and two google apps, to be more specific).

I've been able to load the calendars from those accounts, but so far I know I cannot synchronize with them, just read (I'm looking for a zimlet for zyncing, any tips on that, too?). So for the moment I'm just trying to add appointments locally, that is, just in the PC where I work most of the day (later on, I look forward to syncing those to a google apps account, as I said). What might the problem be?
