Question AVG error on send/receive

Every time I activate send/receive, I get an AVG error message that says "Multiple threat detection" and lists files such as

"C:\USERS\SIMON\APPDATA\LOCAL\ZIMBRA\DESKTOP\STORE \INCOMING\1317320711891\-26.MSG"

I am a new user of Zimbra, and would like some help with this...anyone any ideas?

Thanks,

You should stop AVG from scanning Zimbra Desktop email (or any of it's folders), they are most likely false positives.

Default Re:AVG

Would this not affect the security of all my email messages? What protection do I have if I prevent AVG from scanning my email?
Thanks

Then contact AVG and ask them why it's causing this problem or get an AV scanner that doesn't interfere with Zimbra Desktop and cause this sort of problems or if you really want to improve your security then use Linux. FWIW, I use Comodo firewall and anti-virus software (free versions) and it doesn't cause problems with ZD on any version of Windows.
