Does anyone know of away to make new email more bold in ZDT?

Or is there a zimlet to add an envelope to the front of the email (closed for new and open for read) like in outlook?

More 'bold' than what? It's already easy to differentiate between Unread (bold) and Read (normal) mail or are you having some sort of problem? Why not create a search just for unread email? Have a look at the wiki (link at the top of this page) and search for the word "search" and see how to get just unread email.
