The "To" button is not clickable

According the the Zimbra Desktop Instructions:

On the Compose page type the email address of the person or persons to whom you are sending the message in the To: field.
• You can click To to look up a person's email address in order to search through your contacts

When I click on the "To" the email address list does not pop up or appear.

Just installed new update 7.1.2 Build 10978, problem still exists

Has anyone a solution to this? I, too, have this problem. The "To" button is faded out so I cannot click on it. Is there a possible problem with the software?

yes prob. I am using 7.1.4 beta and and the "to" field is greyed out as well. I also did the same thing on the non beta version.
Hope its fixed on next version.....its irritating....lol
