Launch in seperate window is quirky!

We are using zimbra desktop 7.1.1 and zimbra server 7.0.0.GA_3077.

One user on XP using the dekstop client, when opening a piece of mail in a seperate window, can not forward that email. Hitting the send button produces a spinning icon that never sends. If they reopen that same email in the main desktop or use the web interface, it works.

Another user on Mac using the desktop, when opening a piece of mail in a seperate windows, can not save attachments to the briefcase. If they turn on quickview, they can save that same attachment to the briefcase with no problems. If they use the web interface and launch in separate window, they can save attachments directly to briefcase also.

Any ideas on how make the desktop behave consistently? Other users do not have this issue. Anyone else see quirky stuff going on?
