Unhappy WinXP Firefox "Send Link" Only Reloads ZD 7.1.1

I had to re-install ZD7.1.1 after it started freezing on start-up on my WinXP SP3 pc. Now it works again but a Firefox "Send Link" only reloads ZD without composing. How do I fix this? TIA

Perhaps it's as simple as this. (I'm using ZD 7.1.2, but I expect this aspect of things is the same.)

In Zimbra Desktop, open the Preferences tab. In the All Accounts | General section, check the "Use Zimbra Desktop as default mail application" checkbox on the Other panel next to the label "System Defaults".

Click Save in the top left corner. (You may need to restart ZD before it takes effect. Just in case, why not restart the whole computer.)

This causes the Firefox Send Link context menu item to open up a New email window in Zimbra Desktop. It also causes similar behavior when you right click something in Windows Explorer and choose Send To | Mail Recipient.

    Hope this helps.

That did it! I didn't even know that setting was in Zimbra Desktop. Was it added in Version 7?

    Thanks
