Overlapping Appointments

I am not sure if there is a "fix" for this or not in Zimbra Desktop. We often have appointments that overlap. (One starts at 9 & ends at 10:30 while another starts at 10 & ends at 11) The normal calendar view in Zimbra causes the overlapping appointments to also overlap visually rather than being shown side by side so you cannot easily read the description in both appointments. Is there a setting somewhere than can change this view?

There isn't on my version of Zimbra Desktop, it warns of an overlap. Perhaps you can start by telling us the version of ZD you're using and which type of server you're connecting to.

ZCS NE 7.1.4, ZD 7.1.4, see pic below... Same in Web interface, in Outlook works normally, side by side.

You'll need to give exact steps to reproduce this and whether the appointments are created on ZD or the Zimbra server.

OK.

1. Appointment added in shared cal from 8:00 - 10:00
- appointment is visible over full width of the day

2. Appointment added in shared cal from 8:00 - 10:00, another task for example
- appointments are visible both in same rows, but not 50/50 width, shows 30/70 width.

And I need to be visible 50%/50% of width, not overlapped.
