As of today I cannot start Zimbra Desktop. I wonder if there is a service in windows xp that has been disabled or needs to be started in order for zimbra desktop to work. Help will be appreciated

there may be 2 solutions if zimbra not starting.

1. Make sure that you have antivirus installed on ur system and it is update
2. Make the Full Access permission of that user on which you are login and trying to start zimbra of this folder (C:\Program Files\Zimbra)

There's no problems running Zimbra Desktop on any version of Windows, it works for me. Is there any firewall or ant-virus software scanning you system? If there is then try disabling them to see if the problem goes away.

Where is your Zimbra Installed in Windows. If you have 64-bit OS then it will be install under C:\Program Files (x86). Go There and check Zimbra Folder. Right Click on that and go to security Tab. Make Sure that your user is added in that with full access rights

I habe now the full rights for access. I get this message "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\cscript.exe "C:\Program Files (x86)\Zimbra\Zimbra Desktop\win32\zdrun.vbs"" After that the window disappear again.
