Default Zimbra Desktop random emails held up for delivery.

My organization is running 7.0.0.GA_3077. We have just migrated from groupwise and have chose to use zimbra client. We have had two users complain of some sync issues when using the Desktop version (7.1.1 GA).

First user was sent an attachment with a JPG. She could see the email in the web client but it took approximately 3 hours for it to appear in her zimbra desktop. All the while new email seemed to be delivered fine.

Second users sees this problem more frequently. She is randomly seeing a delay on all types of email showing up in her zimbra desktop. She continues to get most emails right away. A couple of these emails being held up have had no email attachments.

Both of these users have mailboxes over 3GB but are no where near the sizes of our largest users.

Any ideas on how to tackle this problem? Both of these users need to work offline and can not rely sole on the web client.

Thanks,
Jim

Default Additional Info

Further testing, showed this event happening again, this time it was my account. I am running the zimbra desktop, on a MAC and a XP machine, side-by-side, comparing the inbox. The Mac version, had the issue today. The debug log from the mac version, shows that the message was downloaded at 1:33 (see bold log entry). 45 minutes later, the email still does not show up in the inbox. It finally showed up after I restarted. This seems to be a major bug! The desktop version on the XP showed the email at the appropriate time along with the web version.

Will move this thread into error reports. I am receiving more complaints about late mail. Another user who diligently keeps his inbox clean, finds email delivered again after 3 hours. Hopefully someone reading posts in Error Reports can help.

My attempts for move this message into error reports failed. My posting was deleted. So I am in still need of help. Almost every desktop user has experienced this problem at least once. I can't keep telling my users to randomly shut down the desktop to see if your inbox is correct. Seems 3 hours is the key. We have logs that show the message has been downloaded but it will not show up in the desktop unless 3 hours has past or you restart. All the while other mail is being downloaded and showing up correctly.

Did this ever get logged as a bug? It seems like one of my users is experiencing the same issue.

Thanks,
Pat
