I've done setting up all the above solution (check time, setup pop-blocked, etc). None works. And I still can't set my twitter account -_-"

Same thing on clean install of 7.1.1 build 10917 on new OEM Win7 HoPr 64. Tried in K-Meleon and IE with pop protection off, as well as syncing internet time. No joy.
As others mentioned adding Facebook API rights goes through no problem.
NOTE: The Social>Accounts>Add/Remove Accounts panel struck me as odd. Choosing 'Add Facebook Account' gives me a GUI daughter window labeled 'Add Facebook Account', all with working functionality.
Choosing 'Add Twitter Account' gives me a very different structured and visually designed GUI daughter window labeled 'Add Account via OAuth', whose button labeled 'Go To Twitter' when depressed once will cause the 'OK' button to flash as if actuated once...but only once...when it wasn't.
I'm wondering if the expected daughter window is actually 'in' the software, but the program code is calling up an older section of code...and somebody just didn't catch this bug to begin with.
Have the same problem her, but i can add a Facebook account to the social page in ZD. When i try to push the "Go to Twitter" button, nothing happend.
Mac OS X 10.6.8
Zimbra Desktop 7.1.1 (build 10917)
This is because something has changed in Twitter's certificate w.r.t ZD and was fixed as part of Bug 63596 – Unable to add twitter account in social zimlet bug.
This fix will be in ZD 7.1.2 (which should be released in a month or so).
Thanks, that would be great!
(edit: corrected typo)
I noticed you said this issue with Twitter not working will be released in a month or so. Can we confirm that? Can we just get a fix for the twitter issue? It seems like it should be a VERY SMALL fix, and I imagine since the bug was already fixed, you could simply put it out there. Can we copy over some files with a new file version? Maybe run a REGEDIT command if necessary. It seems like this Twitter NOT WORKING issue would be a pretty big issue for so many of us who are having this issue.
Thanks!
this isnt the issue. its a bug.
