So, changing the dom.maxscript in Firefox's about:config does not do anything; and you can't configure that in Safari - and anyway, as I said, ZD is opening separately.
As you see from my last Sunday's post, I completely removed ZD (using CleanMyMac), even going so far as to remove the download history and any indication on my computer of ZD, or prism or anything else ZD related. It did not work.
Do you think I should remove it all again again?
    Best wishes and thanks!
OK, I want you to uninstall ZD and ZDC using "Clean My Mac". Once you have done that, run "CleanMyMac" again. Reboot. and then doa fresh download and install ZD and ZDC.

    Let's see what happens.

    Hi!
    OK - I did that.
    I have reinstalled ZD completely.
The warning script today is :

A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.

    Script: file:///Applications/Zimbra%20Desktop/macos/prism/Prism.app/Contents/Resources/modules/WebAppProperties.jsm:190

    What should I do now?
    Thanks.

I use Safari. But as I told you yesterday, the ZD does NOT seem to open in a browser. Is this normal?

Go to: Applications/zimbra Desktop/Macos. Tell me what other files you have there. An Image would be nice to see.

    BTW what's your O/S. I am using iMac O/S 10.7 Lion,.

My Zimbra opens in it's own browser. Just like Outlook, Mail, Postbox and others.

It certainly opens in FF 7.0.1 without problems for me (although this is on linux systems).

Yes indeed, in its own browser. And ALL I see is the turning wheel, always and still !!!!!!!

However, if I set up ZD through PRISM, that works immediately. The only disadvantage to that is that I do not have an indication of received messages on the icon that I always had before this whole thing started (when I upgraded to Lion).

I can of course also access ZD through Safari or Firefox - but I very much liked how it was before my Lion upgrade - and it is that which simply now will NOT access the zimbra server.

    Thanks

    Sorry but I was away.

You indicated that you use Safari.

Why don't you instal Firefox and see what happens with Zimbra.

    Hi
    Thanks for replying again.
You seem to have misunderstood the problem.
    1) I can access Zimbra through EITHER Safari OR Firefox with no problems at all.
    2) I can also access Zimbra through Prism with no problems at all.
    3) What I CANNOT do (and what I have been wanting to do ever since LION Day One) is to continue to access ZD as before, with a Zimbra Icon in my dock which changes numbers according to the messages that arrive. When I try to install that as before, all the problems of CANNOT CONNECT TO SERVER begin.
    Thanks.
