Default zimbra desktop 7 : security SSL

We run zimbra network editionv 7.1.1., the server works fine. I want to add an account in zimbra desktop 7

- account type : zimbra
- sceurity : SSL, port : 443

then I got error :

Cannot connect to "https://xxx.xxx.xxx/service/soap/". Please check host/port and network connectivity.

I already change webmail protocol to both mode :
#zmtlsctl both
#zmcontrol stop
#zmcontrol start

also the webmail https://xxx.xxx.xxx/ is fail too but the http://xxx.xxx.xxx works.

Please advise.

Then you should update your forum profile with the output of the following command (do not post the output in this thread):

Code:
zmcontrol -v

Why not do the sensible thing and set the mode to https? Allowing users to connect to your mail server with an unsecured connection is potential security problem.

I rea;lly can't give you any advice as you're not saying much about the client PC. Is this a Windows or Linux PC? Have you disabled SElinux/AppArmor? Does it have a firewall or ant-spyware/malware installed? Have you tried disabling them if it has? Which version of ZD are you using (I'd suggest trying the ZD 7.1 beta)?

The error about 'not connecting' usually means just that, ZD can't connect to the server. Can you telnet to the server on port 443? Does the Web UI work? Is the problem only on one PC or are there other users with the same problem? Is port 443 open on the Zimbra server? You need to ask yourself (and answer) all of those questions.
