Exclamation Inbox not refreshing

Hi,
I've been using Zimbra desktop for Mac for quite a while to connect to our corporate zimbra account as well as to gmail.
I am pretty happy about it, but there are two major issues that really bother me. One is here, and the other is in my other thread

My inbox does not automatically refresh when new messages arrive.

If I leave ZD open, with focus on the inbox, then the inbox will not refresh unless I move to a different folder and then switch back to it.
This is pretty annoying and has already caused me to miss urgent emails while I was busy and concentrated on other tasks!

Dfrey,

This might be because the Zimbra Desktop is set to Check for new messages using a lengthy attribute.

Select Setup, then Edit fo your Zimbra account. Scroll to the bottom and change the check messages to every minute.

Hope this helps.

I found setup, and the option I have selected is "as new mail arrives", which should be even better than 1 minute. I am going to test with one minute.

it looks like it works with 1 minute, even though the delay seems to be longer than that.

Dfrey,

I'm glad the option change helped shorten the time in between arriving messages.

Best Regards,
