Default Yahoo contacts fail to sync.

Hello,

Zimbra invited me to copy and paste the error that I keep having:

Debug message: Yahoo address book synchronization failed

Yahoo! limits access using their old api, we have implemented the new API for address book sync, will include it in our newest release.

Default Sync Yahoo contacts

Any news on when the new Zimbra will come out using this API?

Otherwise in the meantime is there another way I can sync my contacts from my yahoo account into Zimbra?

Tried that, installed new beta, still no contact sync happening. Error is:

Failure communicating with remote server. Please try again later.

Its receiving and sending emails fine though.

Any other ways to get my yahoo contacts into Zimbra?

Did you go to the Account Setup page in ZD and get a 'verify' code to allow you to share the Contacts (you need to do that)?

Default click to verify not working

hi,

I have the latest beta of ZD 7.1.1
I'm trying to sync my yahoo address book, but when I click on the "click to verify" link in setup/edit account, it just re-open a setup new account window.

The same behaviour occurs if I'm seting-up a new yahoo account from scratch or if I'm opening zimbra in a web browser.

The address behind the link is [url]http://127.0.0.1:1922/desktop/accsetup.jsp?at=[privacy]

Any help appreciated, as I have been waiting for this release for 2 months now.

Highly likely your connection to Yahoo times out. You could try to set a proxy for https access. If you are on windows, set it in IE
