Cannot Add Attendees In Calendar
I found two other threads related to this, but both were cases involving Zimbra running on a corporate network.
I've just installed Zimbra Desktop and am using it for the first time. I'm running it on a Windows XP system, and my email is retrieved via IMAP. However, I'm encountering the same problem that others encountered on a corporate network.
When created a new calendar entry, the attendees field is locked out. When hovering the mouse over the field control, a circle with a slash through it appears, and there is no way to get the cursor into the field or add attendees. I can't add them from an address book or do anything.
Zimbra Desktop is supposed to have calendar support like Outlook 2003, 2007 and 2010, but this is not a good start.
I'm trying to set up a meeting urgently, and I cannot add the attendee who has requested the invitations.
Someone please help ASAP.
Same here - Attendee field not accessible
I too cannot enter any attendees in new appointments. I am running Windows 7 and the latest version of Zimbra 7.0.1 (build 10791).
My wife has no problems on her Windows 7 machine running Zimbra 2.0.1 (build 10659)
HELP!!! I don't want my wife running my calendar for ever :-)
Must be a Version 7 issue
You could try deleting the version 7.0.1 install completely and then installing the older version 2.0.1 which you can find under the archive section of downloads on the Zimbra website at Zimbra - Products: Zimbra Desktop Downloads
VMware may say that version 7.0.1 is stil a beta - but they hide the older version from the default download page.
