Zimbra Desktop ignoring COS features

we have disabled some features for a specific cos. everything is working in the webinterface but not in the desktop. zdesktop shows full features (briefcase,...)

anyone seen this before?

At present Zimbra Desktop does not sync or inherit any features (COS, skins, dictionaries etc...)

If you want these features, you need to vote for, and if relevant, comment upon it here: Bug 41849; Allow Zimbra Desktop to be managed via central server administration

This enhancement is scheduled to be introduced for Zimbra 8.

In the meantime, if you have anyone who can program, and has some time, it is technically possible, but not easy, to change the settings by editing files in Zimbra Desktop.

so if i have a user, who has not the briefcase enabled, start the zimbra desktop, he can use the briefcase feature?
